More than 1,000 units of student accommodation have been created in this new flagship building, Horizon Heights, alongside Liverpool’s Lime Street Station, giving a positive first impression of the City for visitors.  This is the largest single building completed by Falconer Chester Hall and Unite Students to date.

We have worked with Unite Students on Horizon Heights which sees a vibrant scheme across two tower blocks of 19 and 22 storeys.  There is an undeniable emphasis on the quality of the communal spaces and the value this provides to the students.

The material palette includes aluminium cladding, grey/blue brickwork, large areas of glazing, a series of perforate fins and glass curtain walling.  The unified public realm forges strong connections between the accommodation and its surroundings, whilst providing a functional, attractive, and engaging environment for students.

““This is an important location for the city situated alongside Lime Street Station and we wanted to be respectful of the local context – both of the station itself and nearby buildings in terms of design and materials,””
