Arcadian project is a student accommodation development launched in 2024, featuring a newly constructed 293-bed, purpose-built student housing at 248–262 Huntingdon Street. The new build structure spans 7-storeys orientated around an inner landscaped courtyard space and includes a green roof, ample amenity space such as study rooms and a gym. The seven-story structure offers a mix of en-suite rooms and studio apartments.
The Art Deco façade of the former Amusements Arcade has been retained and refurbished, creating a welcoming, prominent feature for residents. Glazing at street level, enhances the street scene, adding character back to the area.
Situated at the prominent corner of Huntingdon Street and Perth Street, students benefits from a convenient location near Nottingham Trent University and within walking distance of the city centre’s best restaurants and amenities.
Following a successful planning application by Franklin Ellis Architects, Falconer Chester Hall were appointed by McAleer & Rushe, to deliver the scheme, which is now managed by Homes For Students.
