The work to restore the former Seamen’s Mission – Chancery House – in Liverpool city centre has been recognised at the North West Insider Property Awards.
The scheme collected the prize for Apartment Development of the Year with the judges hailing it as a `brave’ development.
The 19th century Grade II listed mission had lain empty for years, but is now a thriving and valuable addition to the city ’s built fabric, with a distinctive new build element referencing both the building’s and Liverpool’s maritime history.
