Five cyclists from FCH (plus one talented ringer) made it to Paris after their four day ride through temperatures which at times approached 38 degrees C, raising over £8500 for Action Medical Research in the process.
Between stopovers at Calais, Arras and Compiegne, the FCH train could be seen whipping along resplendent in its very classy team kit. On arrival in Paris they joined a peloton of 300 other riders for the final few kms around L’Arc de Triomphe, along the Champs Elysees, finally finishing at the Eiffel Tower.
The icing on the cake was watching Chris Froome bring home the Tour de France, before the team bumped into Sir David Brailsford and the winner himself later on in the evening!
Everyone taking part in the ride would like to thank supporters who helped raise a great sum of money for the charity, including many of our clients.
