We are pleased to share that our Park Street residential scheme in Swinton was approved by Salford City Council last week.
Designed for Built Developments and ForHousing, the scheme will bring 42 new affordable apartments to a site that has stood vacant for several years.
Our approach was to create a building that feels rooted in its surroundings while offering a fresh, contemporary character. Red brick façades, rhythmical window groupings and projecting details draw on the local vernacular, while the stepped massing ensures the building sits comfortably alongside neighbouring streets.
At the heart of the design is community: a landscaped garden adjoining Victoria Park provides residents with a safe, green space to enjoy, while generous natural light and adaptable layouts support wellbeing inside the homes.
Mike Gore, Project Director, said: “This scheme balances modern living with a strong sense of place, offering high-quality homes that connect with their context and encourage community.”
We look forward to seeing the design realised in the coming months.
