Michigan Tower 2 ‘Spectra’ Tops Out at Salford Quays

We are delighted to share the topping out of Michigan Tower 2, known as ‘Spectra’, a key milestone within the wider Michigan Towers development at Salford Quays.

This achievement marks significant progress in the delivery of a landmark residential scheme developed with X1 Development & Starlight Investments, designed to contribute to a vibrant and sustainable community within the Media City area of Greater Manchester. Michigan Tower 2 is the first of four towers and is being delivered by Falconer Chester Hall in collaboration with Vermont Construction.

The scheme provides a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments alongside townhouses, supported by a comprehensive range of resident amenities. These include co-working spaces, fitness studios, private dining facilities and a variety of social spaces, all designed to encourage connectivity, wellbeing and community living. Upon completion, Spectra will form part of the broader Michigan Towers vision to deliver over 1,300 new homes adjacent to the Broadway Metrolink stop, responding to the growing demand for high-quality build-to-rent housing in Salford.

We are proud to be collaborating with all those involved in bringing this ambitious project to life and look forward to seeing the tower reach completion later this year.
