A residential development comprising 177 new apartments is set to rise from a vacant site close to Liverpool city centre on Kirkdale Road.
The proposals designed by architects Falconer Chester Hall for Fast Growth Homes were approved at today’s Planning Committee meeting.
Fast Growth Homes is a development company based in Liverpool. They currently have multiple projects in the pipeline including two hotel schemes adjacent to Liverpool Waters and a further waterfront development of 200 apartments. They particularly focus on areas that would benefit the local community and work in collaboration with Liverpool City council to achieve this. They are very much looking forward to getting started on these exciting projects and delivering a high standard of homes in the city of Liverpool.
The development will see two connected buildings of five and six storeys established on a site bounded to the south by the Kirkdale Road/Great Homer Street junction.

As well as the mix of 18 studios, 69 one and 90 two-bedroom apartments, the development will also include commercial space on the ground floor, a communal courtyard garden area at the first-floor level and a residents’ gym.
‘This development builds on regeneration already happening in the area, reinstating activity and the historic scale on one of Liverpool’s great roads. The city council deserve much credit for encouraging this form and quality of development,’
said Alastair Shepherd, Director at Falconer Chester Hall.
