Following our successful win of the ‘Student Accommodation’ category at the North West RICS Social Impact Awards 2020, we are delighted to announce that Horizon Heights has been entered into the Grand Final of the national RICS Social Impact Awards 2020.
The judges concluded from the North West RICS Social Impact Awards 2020 that “Horizon Heights is a building designed for and by its end users. It is a high-quality student accommodation that is focused on providing a secure environment and supporting the well-being of its occupants. It uses creative solutions to provide flexible accommodation that can be re-used in the future. The safe guarding of the students is at the heart of the design at the same time it promotes social inclusion. The collaboration between the project team, client and students has been key to the success of the project and created a building that will last for generations to come.”
The Grand Final of the RICS Social Impact Awards will take place virtually on 24th November 2020 – wish us luck!
