On the back of a raft of new instructions, AJ100 architectural practice, Falconer Chester Hall has continued to expand its expertise with a number of key appointments.
New social housing schemes in Warrington, a mixed-use development in Manchester for Northern Group, a significant apartment building in Liverpool for Legacie Developments and two hotels in central London for The Other House are among the new projects secured by the firm in the last quarter.
The spurt in activity since the end of lockdown has prompted appointments across the firm’s Liverpool, Manchester and London studios with thirteen new employees confirmed in Q3 alongside two senior promotions made.
Alastair Shepherd, director, commented: “The new client wins reflects our resilience throughout the pandemic and the team spirit that is embedded in FCH. Staff reward and retention remain a top priority and we are pleased to be able to offer the senior promotions to recognise the talent we have in our team.”
“As well as the new commissions, we must note the projects that continued throughout the last 15 months, including India Buildings and Municipal Buildings in Liverpool and work continued nationally with Watkin Jones. We are delighted with our progress and the future is looking extremely positive.”
The firm’s two senior promotions are:
Tom McTernan – Senior Architect, Liverpool studio. Tom joined FCH in 2020 and has been leading on Poets Corner, Clegg Street, Liverpool for Caro Developments and most recently heading up one of the phases on Thornton Park, Clapham Common, London for Henry Construction Limited.
Paschal Riley – Senior Architect, London studio. Paschal joined Falconer Chester Hall in 2014 and has recently focused his attention on leading Richmond Royal Hospital, Richmond, London for Henry Construction Limited.
