‘Grow your own’ philosophy yields new promotion

Falconer Chester Hall has made another senior promotion as part of the ‘grow your own’ philosophy that saw the launch last year of the FCH Academy programme, designed to mentor and develop the talent within the business. The move follows a year of steady growth and new client instructions.

Robert Brym has been promoted to Associate Director, having been with the firm since 2015.

“Our approach is to develop talent and reward people’s growth and contribution and so I am delighted to be able to announce Robert’s promotion,” said Adam Hall, Managing Director.

“He exemplifies what’s best about our learning culture but also our focus on performance for our clients.  Everyone here makes a great contribution to project delivery and it’s why we enjoy so many repeat instructions.”

Robert has been responsible for many design aspects of the construction process from inception to completion.  During his time with the practice he has developed his knowledge in design, procurement, project management, contract administration and site supervision across a range of public and private sectors projects including educational, residential, commercial and industrial.

He is also responsible for staff development, mentoring and training of future architects through his work with the FCH Academy programme and RIBA North West. He also works as a visiting design critic at John Moores University, Part 3 Examiner and member of the Advance Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture Committee with RIBA North West.

“Promoting from within is key to our long-term sustainability as a business and my congratulations go to Robert for his outstanding work and performance,” added Adam Hall.
