Falconer Chester Hall’s design for a new build PRS development on Pall Mall includes a 22 storey tower that will deliver 336 apartments with a mix of studio, 1, 2 and 3 beds. The scheme will create a beacon for the edge of Liverpool’s city centre and the materials palette selected will ensure the building ages with grace.
Two residents’ terraces, one on the first floor and a second on the fifth floor create outdoor spaces to encourage a sustainable community. An integral part of the design are the sustainable elements, including green roofs, recycled rainwater, solar panels and internal light filled areas that minimise the need for electric lighting.
The elevation is formed with double height glazing modules with projecting surrounds. The top three floors are stepped back from the façade to create a recessed colonnade to top the building. Commercial units on the ground floor will animate the streetscape and the scheme will bring Pall Mall and the area behind Exchange Station back to life.
