Union Court is a new residential-led development located in Liverpool city centre, transforming a prominent corner plot between Cook Street and the adjoining streets into high-quality urban living. The scheme repurposes the existing building footprint to deliver 53 new apartments across a series of efficient, well-planned floors, ranging from studios to one-bed and two-bed homes.
Designed with a focus on optimising daylight, internal layouts, and urban activation, the proposals retain and reconfigure key structural elements while introducing a refreshed, contemporary residential offer. The development spans ground to fifth floor, with the upper levels providing a consistent mix of apartments arranged around central corridors, as illustrated in the first to fifth floor plans within the feasibility package.
The project sits within a highly connected part of the city, surrounded by commercial activity and established residential neighbourhoods. Its position within Liverpool’s historic street pattern informs the design response, ensuring the building contributes positively to the wider townscape.
Having now commenced on site, Union Court marks the next phase in the ongoing regeneration of the area, bringing new homes, renewed commercial potential at ground level, and a sustainably designed building envelope suited to modern city living.
