Old Hall Street – Planning Approved

We are delighted to confirm that our residential Build to Rent scheme at Old Hall Street, Liverpool, has now received full planning approval from Liverpool City Council. This marks an important step forward in delivering a high-quality, professionally managed development for Packaged Living and Affinius Capital.

Located on a prominent gateway site within the city centre, the scheme will deliver 434 new homes across two elegant towers of 19 and 25 storeys. Designed to set a new benchmark for Build to Rent living in Liverpool, the development offers:

  • A mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments

  • Professionally managed, high-quality rental accommodation

  • Extensive resident amenities, including lounges, co-working areas, a gym, and landscaped rooftop terraces with panoramic views

A new landmark for Liverpool’s commercial district

The surrounding public realm has been designed to create a clear sense of place. New pedestrian and cycle routes improve connectivity across the site and support a healthy, active lifestyle. As a result, the development complements wider regeneration efforts and strengthens the arrival into Liverpool’s commercial district.

Speaking about the approval, Adam Hall, Project Director, commented:

“The buildings offer an elegant and confident entrance statement to the city’s commercial core, in an area that supports the clustering of taller buildings. The views north towards Everton’s new stadium, Blackpool Tower and the Lake District fells beyond will take some beating.”

A significant step forward

This planning approval reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality residential-led schemes that support sustainable city living, enhance local character, and bring long-term value to Liverpool.

With planning now secured, we look forward to seeing progress on site and will continue to share updates as the project develops.
