Falconer Chester Hall’s residential proposals for Davos Property Developments at Greenland Street and Blundell Street have been approved at this morning’s Liverpool City Council planning committee.
Located within Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, the two schemes will deliver nearly 260 new homes across distinct yet complementary sites, contributing to the continued regeneration of this growing neighbourhood.
Greenland Street: contemporary living rooted in industrial character
The Greenland Street development rises to 13 storeys and will provide 199 homes, comprising 89 one-bedroom and 110 two-bedroom apartments and townhouses.
The scheme incorporates a range of resident amenities, including commercial space, a gym and co-working areas, supporting modern urban living.
Architecturally, the design draws on the Baltic Triangle’s industrial heritage, expressed through a contemporary façade with a strong vertical rhythm and robust material palette.
Blundell Street: integrating heritage with new development
At Blundell Street, the scheme will deliver 59 apartments alongside three commercial units. The building steps from five to seven storeys, carefully responding to the surrounding context before reducing in height to meet a retained 1916 warehouse.
This existing structure will be repurposed into new homes, with the new-build element connecting via a bridge. The architectural detailing reflects the character of the warehouse through recessed brickwork, fenestration and balcony design.
Complex site levels have been addressed through a series of level changes, ensuring accessibility throughout the development.
Collaborative approach to deliverable design
Both schemes have been developed in close collaboration with Liverpool City Council, balancing high-quality design with viability and deliverability.
The approval marks another step forward in the ongoing transformation of the Baltic Triangle, reinforcing its role as a vibrant and evolving residential neighbourhood.
