Bulrush Court – Shortlisted for the Brick Awards 2025 by Brick Development Association (BDA)!
We are delighted that Bulrush Court (Imperial Phase II) has been shortlisted in the Large Housing Development category at the Brick Awards 2025!
Part of the Imperial Street masterplan for The Guinness Partnership, the scheme transforms a brownfield site in Bromley-by-Bow into a 9-storey mixed-use development, delivering high-quality homes and commercial space as part of a wider regeneration vision.
Following a successful planning application by Pitman Tozer Architects, Falconer Chester Hall was appointed as Delivery Architect by Lovell Homes to take the project through to completion in early 2024.
The 1920s-inspired design is expressed through traditional brickwork, with generous outdoor spaces, a roof garden, and a communal courtyard playground. Built using a concrete frame with SFS infill, the project also features full BIM integration, COBie data coordination, and BREEAM-certified commercial units – ensuring long-term efficiency in construction, management and use.
We’re proud to see the quality of this collaborative project recognised. Congratulations to the full team, and best of luck to all shortlisted entries!
