Situated on Upper Richmond Road in East Putney, Putney Plaza, London, is a £35million mixed-use development, providing 146 residential units, almost a quarter of which are affordable housing, plus three office units, three retail units, car parking and cycle spaces plus a vibrant new public realm.

Falconer Chester Hall were commissioned by developers Art Estates to create a scheme on a constrained urban site that did not overwhelm its neighbours, created practical and inviting public realm and amenity spaces whilst maximising the space and light in all the apartments.

The project reduces energy use through passive design. Exemplar standards of airtightness and insulation are combined with central plant, incorporated to provide efficient energy, with photovoltaic panels at roof level generating renewable energy.
