There is a cohesion to the whole Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral campus and this building, at the western edge of the cathedral approach, complements it perfectly.
Falconer Chester Hall created a harmony with the use of materials that gives the whole campus a very clear sense of place and people now linger in a way they never did before. The building – which faces the dramatic processional staircase designed by the practice in 2007 – sits comfortably amidst its neighbours and was fully let within months of coming to the market.
