Imperial Phase II is part of the Imperial Street, Bromley-By-Bow masterplan for Guinness Partnership. The development scheme comprises of five high rise residential blocks, holding a total of 500 apartments, with community spaces and commercial areas at ground level.
Phase II develops the brownfield site to create a 9-storey mixed-use scheme.
Following a successful planning application by Pitman Tozer Architects, Falconer Chester Hall were appointed by Henry Construction, then Lovell Homes to deliver the scheme, which completed in early 2024.
The 1920’s inspired design is constructed of a concrete frame, with SFS infill supporting frame, with traditional brickwork. The scheme benefits from generous private outdoor spaces, a roof garden and communal courtyard playground.
Full BIM integration and clash detection has been implemented and is accessed by construction M&E and landscaping teams. COBie software is utilised to allow a single source of asset date to be available for the facilities management and asset management when maintaining and operating the building. The commercial elements of the scheme are BREEAM certified.
