Voted by Condé Nast as one of the world’s coolest hotels, Hope Street Hotel not unreasonably came back for more and commissioned Falconer Chester Hall to design their new 38 bedroom extension.

It’s a real success – not least the upstairs hospitality suites with wonderful views over Liverpool, its bay and the Welsh mountains beyond.

Hope Street is remarkably eclectic, with early Georgian townhouses rubbing shoulders with muscular Victorian Gothic, art deco elegance and boisterous sixties ‘statements’. This lovely hotel holds its own with them all whilst adding something fresh and popular to this delightful neighbourhood.

The project was a finalist in the European Hotel of the Year Awards.
