Two major schemes in Liverpool designed by Falconer Chester Hall have commenced on site this month

Our design of a £45m Liverpool Student Scheme in Norton Street on behalf of Mount Property Group comprising two blocks of 16 and 10 storeys featuring 566 student beds, split between 472 cluster units and 94 studios.  The scheme also includes a games area and gym together with a private courtyard between the two blocks.

“We are delighted to have been chosen to deliver this strategic flagship development with Mount Property Group which will provide a gateway into Liverpool City Centre and links back to the expansion of the Knowledge Quarter”
Stephen Fieldsend (Project Lead)

The second scheme is the final building at the £100m Wolstenholme Square “The Address” project on behalf of the Elliot Group.  The development, on the former headquarters of social care charity PSS, will reach 11 storeys and includes 102 one-beds, 66 two-beds and 32 studio apartments.  There are also two commercial units on the ground floor which will be leased to local entrepreneurs.  Once the final phase has been completed this scheme will include more than 700 homes, 12,000 sq. ft. of commercial space and a 128-bed £20m hotel, the latter opened last month and includes a residents’ bar and gym.

‘This final piece of the Wolstenholme Square development will provide a key, new gateway to the ropewalks which compliments and contributes to the character of the area and we’re really excited to see the completed piece.’
Andrew Shave (Project Architect)
