Falconer Chester Hall is working with RIBA North to deliver its mentoring programme. Seven students from the University of Liverpool and John Moores University will visit our practice and be matched with dedicated mentors, who will give them an overview of our current projects.
We have been involved in the RIBA mentoring programme for the past three years and its aims are to enrich students’ university experiences and provide an insight into the working life of an architect.
It is being delivered as part of the FCH Academy, an internal programme committed to staff development and collaboration with universities to facilitate the transition between education and architecture in practice. As part of the FCH Academy our students, Part 1s, 2s and 3s are helped to build their careers through mentoring and learning opportunities.
We are supporting the next generation of architects to drive our profession forward, and students learning from experienced practitioners provides a crucial step on this journey.
