Our Manchester studio have designed an affordable housing scheme for Kayber Court Investments.
Plans have been submitted for the four storey, 33 apartment block, on Kenyon Lane, Moston, Manchester. The majority of the apartments will be two beds.
Mike Gore, Director at Falconer Chester Hall, said: “We’ve picked up on the red brick vernacular of the neighbouring buildings and use strong fenestration to give a confident frontage on what is a prominent site on one of Moston’s main roads. It’s a well-mannered building that sits well on its plot.”
Kayber spokesman, Geoff Underhill, said: “This is an ideal site for affordable housing. The area is in need of additional high-quality stock and we aim to plug that gap.”
Should consent be granted, work is expected to begin on site in 2021.
