Work has begun on two schemes designed by FCH on Norfolk Street, Liverpool, for developer the Elliot Group.
Phase one will see the construction of 156 apartments on a derelict site, together with office space on the ground floor, plus a gym and lounge space for residents to add to the sense of communality. Phase two is a development of 100 studio apartments aimed at city centre workers.
`This scheme will bring new people into the area who will help support existing businesses. It also gives the option for workers to live in the mixed-use area they have helped create,’ said FCH Director Alastair Shepherd.
