Architecture practice Falconer Chester Hall has moved to a new studio in Manchester to accommodate its growth in the city.
The 18-strong studio has taken almost 2,000 square feet on the 4th floor of Colony, One Silk Street, Ancoats Urban Village, developed by the firm’s client The Northern Group. FCH were trusted with the delivery of the scheme onsite.
The new office will provide room for growth, new meeting facilities and breakout spaces, says office director Mike Gore.
“We’re delivering some outstanding work in Manchester and Salford and our new home will provide us with the capacity to cement our position in the city. Our reputation is where I’d want it to be and now is the time to build further on the team’s hard work and the support of our clients and the local authorities,” said Mr Gore.
The studio is working across the country with PBSA developer Watkin Jones as well as on two Manchester projects for The Northern Group; at Manchester Waters for Peel Land and Property; and the campus redevelopment for Riverside College in Cheshire. It is also completing a major tower on Greengate for Legacie Developments and a 40-unit residential scheme on Ducie Street for Big Red.
The 80-strong firm is one of only three north west-based practices to make the prestigious AJ100 listing and has thriving studios in Liverpool and London.
