Work is starting onsite to deliver a luxury apartment development on Meols Drive, West Kirby. The new apartment scheme will comprise of 10 apartments.
The residential scheme respects the adjacent conservation area and historical context. Meols Drive is characterised by fine Arts & Crafts Edwardian Villas and these were used as inspiration for the development of the design. We have matched the scale and height of the villa blocks in the locality, taken a modern interpretation of the bookend facade symmetry and incorporated street facing balconies, providing depth and interest. 16 car parking spaces are hidden under the site in a basement car park to maintain as much landscaping on the site as possible.
The site has been carefully designed to create a pleasant and sustainable environment in which to live, the aim has been to assimilate the project into its location and maximise the ecological contribution that the scheme can make to the locality.
