Falconer Chester Hall secure consent to increase the number of apartments from 93 to 127 on land between Clegg Street and Great Homer Street.
Liverpool City Council has given its approval to an increase in the number of apartments at a previously consented development in the North of the City.
The development on land between Clegg Street and Great Homer Street will include a revised mix of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments in an L-shaped block of between five and eight storeys in height.
Architects Falconer Chester Hall submitted the revised application on behalf of Caro Developments who were also behind the neighbouring City Point project.
“Without exceeding the previously approved height and massing, we have reconfigured the interior layout to provide a mix of apartments which reflect the current marketplace demand more accurately. The emphasis remains on quality shared areas and well lit interiors” said Falconer Chester Hall Associate Director Martin Haymes.
Under the newly approved proposals the development will feature 76 one-bedroom apartments, 43 studios and eight two-bedroom units. Overall the number of apartments increases from the previously consented 93 to 127.
“The development represents a significant investment in a gateway site and will deliver a variety of high-quality, well-designed residential units” added Mr Haymes.
