A focus on our smaller, luxurious, residential developments

Falconer Chester Hall is well known for its expertly designed residential towers, but we would like to share with you a few of our smaller, luxurious, residential developments.

Our latest scheme to have secured planning permission on the Wirral is The Links, this apartment development on Meols Drive, West Kirby is starting onsite. Meols Drive is characterised by fine Arts & Crafts Edwardian Villas, and these were the inspiration for the development of the design. The scale and height of the villa blocks in the locality have been matched with a modern interpretation of the bookend façade symmetry.

Carnatic Road – A new build apartment development offering a contemporary large villa aesthetic, taking inspiration from the Tony Scragg sculpture in the park.  The red sandstone was selected as it is indigenous to the area and the grey metal cladding minimises the appearance of the buildings mass. Basement car parking and cycle store allow the scheme to keep the green proportions.

The Sail – Located in the desirable location of South Parade, West Kirby, The Sail is bold, contemporary, architecture that creates a sense of exclusivity in a landmark residential development for the area. The large, glazed areas and open terraces maxmise the superb views across the Dee Estuary and the Welsh Hills.

Calder House – Overlooking Calderstones Park, Calder House respects its surroundings and ensures the character of the area is not compromised. The contemporary design was developed with the tapered shape of the site in mind whilst ensuring it did not overwhelm the views from the street.  The 11 apartments have either a garden or terrace and the floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the large living spaces.

St Mary’s Church – The conversion of a historic church in Waterloo, Liverpool into fifteen apartments. This sensitive conversion retains the inherent character of the church and secures the future of the building over the long term. The existing features have been sympathetically incorporated into the design, which includes a number of duplex apartments. Stained glass windows allow natural light to flood into the spacious rooms.
