Who we are
Established in 1997, Falconer Chester Hall has an international reputation for using creative design intelligence to deliver inspirational buildings that maximise the commercial potential of a site. Quietly confident in our abilities, “Yes”, is the word that embodies the spirit of Falconer Chester Hall.
What we do
We are award winning practitioners in architecture, masterplanning and interior design. We work across a range of sectors, taking a sustainable approach to each design, creating thoughtful and sensitive buildings that respond to and complement the site and its surroundings, be they new build or sensitive conversions, large-scale masterplans or constrained urban sites.
How we work
Listening to our client, to their aims and requirements, is vital. With that understanding informing our actions, Falconer Chester Hall adds value to each project. We have developed a powerful track record of working collaboratively, whether with local authorities, design teams or client bodies, to maximise the development’s potential and ensure every stage runs smoothly.
At Falconer Chester Hall we believe that good design adds value to a client’s project, be that financially, aesthetically, or in terms of improved functionality or sustainability. All our projects have to be fundable, buildable and workable. Our aim is to create visually stunning, practical buildings that not only respond to their context with air and sensitivity but combine commercial viability and visual appeal to bring impressive economic, cultural and community benefits to the wider area.
Our specialist interiors team is passionate about design. The marriage of form and function, expressed in robust and appropriate materials with compelling colours and engaging textures, create practical and appealing spaces that stand the test of time.
At Falconer Chester Hall, we believe that good masterplanning starts with understanding the place. We analyse the context of the site, including its history and community, and combine it with an appreciation of how the people who live, work and visit there would interact with the space. Squares and sightlines, green space and more intimate areas, all combine to create character and interest. The buildings, appropriate to their function, are sensitively scaled and massed, layered with more subtle elements of texture and materiality to create legible and liveable places to be.
